Lab
Shape, Center, Spread
Describing a distribution is the first thing nearly every free-response question asks for. Each round draws a fresh data set. Make your calls, then check them against the numbers.
Challenges
- Describe five distributions in a row correctly, including the outlier check.
- Find a right-skewed data set and compare the mean and median. Which is larger, and why?
- Switch between dotplot, histogram and boxplot for the same data. What does the boxplot hide?
